Mrs. Megan Harvey
Instrumental Music Teacher
Now in her 18th year at Copenhagen, Mrs. Megan Harvey helps students discover the joy of making “Music for Life.” From kindergarten and sixth-grade music to instrumental instruction in grades 4–12, she encourages students to grow as musicians and as respectful, responsible, hardworking, and kind young adults. A graduate of SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, Mrs. Harvey helped expand Copenhagen’s instrumental program to include fourth graders. She especially values watching students grow from children into young adults throughout their years in the program. Outside school, she performs seasonally with the Clayton Community Band and enjoys sewing, running, and adventures with her husband and their two children.
