Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Afterschool Program

The Cornell Cooperative Extension Jefferson County 4-H Afterschool Program is offered at Copenhagen Central School for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The program provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students after school while promoting hands-on learning, personal growth, and positive youth development.

Program Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM

Program Focus Areas

The 4-H Afterschool Program offers a variety of enriching activities designed to support the development of the whole child, including:

Learning Through the 4-H Model

Students participate in activities centered around the four essential elements of 4-H:
