Special Education Services

At Copenhagen Central School, our Special Education programs and services are designed to support the academic, social-emotional, physical, and management needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment (LRE).

Our goal is to provide students with the support they need while maximizing opportunities to learn and grow alongside their peers in the general education setting. Through collaboration among families, teachers, support staff, and related service providers, we strive to ensure that every student has access to a meaningful and successful educational experience.

Special Education services are individualized to meet each student's unique needs and may include specialized instruction, related services, accommodations, modifications, and supports as determined through the Committee on Special Education (CSE) or Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) process.
