Congratulations to Kaitlyn Goutermout for taking 2nd place at the SkillsUSA NYS Competition held in Syracuse on April 27-29th. Everyone who attended put forth a great effort and are truly champions at work! Kaitlyn attends the Engineering & Design Program at BOCES.

The NYS Class D Champions, our Varsity Girls Basketball Team, will be coming home in style!! The bus plans to be back in Copenhagen around 2:00 p.m. and will be led by a VERY SPECIAL escort. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and parents. Nicely done Lady Knights!
CCS, CCS, CCS!!! The Varsity girls win 51-40!!! On to the NYS Finals, Saturday March 19th. They will play Sherman Central School at 8:45 p.m. The game will be on the NFHS Network. Congratulations and good luck!!!!

Varsity Girls Send Off! The team will be heading out for the state final four tomorrow right after school. The entire student body will line the halls, making a "tunnel" for the girls to run through before going out the front doors by the flag pole and boarding their bus. Any community members that would like to wish them luck are encouraged to gather on the front lawn for a rousing send off!! Good luck girls!!
Packets have been mailed to all children in our census who are eligible for Wee Knights (3 year old), Pre Knights (4 year old). or Kindergarten in September. If you have a child that will be 3, 4, or 5 years old by December 1, 2022, and you did NOT receive a packet, call the Elementary Office at 315-688-4411. If you have a friend or neighbor in our district this may apply to, please pass on this information. If your child attends school at CCS this year, no additional paperwork is needed at this time. We are very excited to have your children join us in the Fall!

It's National Pancake Day so naturally our Wee Knights learned about...pancakes! They read a book about the needed ingredients, poured some "syrup" onto their pancakes, and played around in pretend pancake batter. It was a sweet time!
The Copenhagen Wrestlers had a very exciting weekend. Congratulations to Chase Nevills for taking 3rd place and Tavian Camper for taking 8th place at the New York State Championship. We are of all of our CCS wrestlers.
On to the Sectional Finals!! Congratulations to the Varsity Girls for defeating Hamilton 52-39. Up next - Poland (#2 seed) on Saturday, March 5th @ SRC Arena. Good luck girls!!
