The Third Graders had the opportunity to visit the Thompson Park Zoo on Tuesday! It was a beautiful day and the perfect way to wrap up an ELA unit on Animal Classification. We have been learning all about character traits of animals and how taxonomists classify them. Students were able to see all the zoo animals as well as have an up close and personal lesson from zoo keepers and reptiles as well!
