It was another amazing day at CCS! Kindergarten through fifth grade students participated in the Global Outdoor Classroom Day on June 13th. Outdoor Classroom Day is a global movement to make time outdoors part of every child’s day. On two days each year, teachers take children outdoors to play and learn. All year round, the Outdoor Classroom Day community campaigns for more time outdoors every day. Students rotated through several different stations including a K9 Unit from Fort Dum and one from the Sherriff's Department, a story time walk, a trip to the Hopenhagen Farm, and even the landing of a helicopter from Fort Drum! . Thank you to everyone that helped to make this such a special day. A VERY SPECIAL Thank you to Mrs. Tamie Muncy for all of her hard work organizing this wonderful event. Our students absolutely loved it!
