Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of Board of Education must be filed with the Clerk of the District no later than Monday, April 22, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Each petition must be directed to Brenda Shelmidine, Clerk of the District, must be signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified voters for the District, and must state the name and residence of persons signing the petition.
The following vacancies are to be filled on the Board of Education:
Koreen G. Freeman Five Year Term 7/1/19 – 6/30/24
Keith Lee Five Year Term 7/1/19 – 6/30/24
Candidates for election are required to submit expenditure statements to the Commissioner of Education and the School District Clerk the tenth day before the election. A second form must be submitted within twenty days after election. Also, an Affidavit of Qualification must be signed and notarized. All of these forms are available in the District Office. Thank you.
