Letter Writing Campaign to Governor Andrew Cuomo
A letter writing campaign to Governor Andrew Cuomo asking him to live up to his constitutional responsibility of providing a quality education for all students in New York State has begun. Rural schools like Copenhagen depend more on state funding than schools in city and suburban areas. The Copenhagen School/Commuinty are invited to participate in this letter writing campaign. In your letter, please ask Governor Cuomo to look closely at the distribution of state aid and make it equitable for our children. If you would like to see a template of that letter many people have used, please click (parent letter) (general letter). You can also find them at all winter athletic contests or in the district office.
Skiing/Snowshoeing day at Barnes Corners Ski Trails.
The Copenhagen Outdoor Club and Wellness Committee are planning a day of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at the Barnes Corners Ski Trails on Saturday, February 4. For more information, visit the Outdoor Club's page, or click here.
