Students in Grades 9-12 participated in an assembly, entitled "Distracted Driving, Deadly Consequences." The event was made possible through Mountain View Prevention Services and is presented in conjunction with the National Safety Council and the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee. Presenter Karen Torres, Distracted Driving Awareness Advocate, shared personal stories and sobering statistics on the dangers of distracted driving.
