Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of Board of Education must be filed with the Clerk of the District no later than Monday, April 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Each petition must be directed to Brenda Shelmidine, Clerk of the District and must be signed by at least twenty-five (25) qualified voters for the District, and must state the name and residence of persons signing the petition.
The following vacancy is to be filled on the Board of Education:
Gabrielle M. Thompson Five Year Term 7/1/20– 6/30/25
Candidates for election are required to submit expenditure statements to the Commissioner of Education and the School District Clerk the tenth day before the election. A second form must be submitted within twenty days after election. Also, an Affidavit of Qualification must be signed and notarized. All of these forms are available in the District Office. Thank you.
